Thea Walton

Thea’s work focuses on strengthening the governance capability of Odonata’s board, working closely with the CEO to deliver the best possible outcomes across all levels of the business.

She has a double Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is currently completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne. She has a broad range of experience working in roles across government, communications strategy and events management. Thea previously held positions at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet as a Regulation Analyst, Economic Policy Advisor and Communications and Multimedia Advisor, these roles saw her undertake a wealth of different tasks, including the creation and implementation of communication strategies for national conferences and government policy. Thea is also a director and founder of LegalEase Solutions, a paralegal services company.

Thea is an energetic presence within the Odonata team. She has an innate ability to identify possibilities and take ideas from conception to reality with ease, supporting Odonata’s growth and development as a business. Her adaptability and talent for strategic thinking shone when she re-developed Odonata’s Constitution and worked closely with the CEO and board to establish the Odonata Public Fund.
