SAM LANCASTER

Conservation Facilitator

Sam's role is based predominantly at Mt Rothwell, delivering on-ground operations across our sanctuary network. He works closely with the Biodiversity Director and the greater team based on-ground at our sanctuaries, providing applied field and ecological support for conservation management.

Before joining the Odonata team, Sam worked with the City of Greater Geelong – Nature Reserves Team as well as having vast experience in Civil Estimating and Eco-tourism. Additionally, he has multiple qualifications in Conservation & Land Management.

Sam’s position also involves coordinating and working closely with the volunteers that work at Mt Rothwell. Sam’s ability to recognise and cultivate the potential of the individuals in this diverse group is what brings them together and effectively drives success in a broad range of tasks.
